From there, he flew to Russia on the Osh-St. Petersburg flight, and until November 2023, he was engaged in temporary work and lived in a rented house.
He confessed his guilt in court. According to his words, an acquaintance named Urinboy from Margilon called him and offered to work as a baker in St. Petersburg, promising a salary of 2,500 rubles per bag of bread. Alisher worked as a baker for the first two months, but Urinboy did not pay the promised money. After that, he got a job as a cargo carrier for three months together with a man named Umid, whom he met in the "Magnit" hypermarket. Their chief, Akmal, from Surkhandarya region, did not pay his salary with various excuses. Because of this, he beat Alisher and the head of Umid.
The lawyer who came to defend these two men who beat their boss offered them a drink at the police station. They agreed to it. The lawyer then told him that beating Akmal was a crime punishable by up to five years in prison. At this point, the defender offered to participate in the war in Ukraine in order to avoid responsibility. Alisher Khalikov understood this as an opportunity to avoid punishment and agreed to this proposal with Umid, and they signed two copies of the contract presented by the police. They were given a release document and released.
According to the document, on November 24, 2023, he signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense of Russia for one year of military service, and Ukraine agreed to participate in hostilities as part of Russia. After that, together with 80 previously unknown persons from Uzbekistan, they were placed in the Kaminka military unit near the Russian-Finnish border under the supervision of military personnel of the Ministry of Defense. A few days later, the authorities transferred 500,000 rubles to his plastic card. Khalikov kept 100,000 rubles for himself, and transferred 400,000 rubles to the plastic card of his wife S.M.
For two months, Khalikov studied the methods of using combat firearms and ammunition in the "Kaminka" military unit and underwent combat training. On February 4, by the order of the Ministry of Defense, he and 79 other people who did not have a biometric passports of Uzbekistan illegally crossed the Ukrainian border under the surveillance of military personnel, violating the laws of Uzbekistan. They went to take part in hostilities on the side of Russia in the territory of the self-proclaimed independent Luhansk People's Republic. While crossing the border, their convoy was shot by a drone from Ukraine. Khalikov was injured in the left temple of the head, left arm, left shoulder, and right leg as a result of the explosion of the shell dropped from the drone. He recovered in March in a hospital in Moscow, where he was treated for a month.
Russia transferred another 300,000 rubles to his plastic card. He will recover, but he will not be able to participate in military operations. Because of this, he takes a vacation and returns to the warehouse dormitory of the "Magnit" hypermarket in St. Petersburg. Three days later, his wife brought her green biometric passport that was left in Uzbekistan. He told his wife what had happened, and she offered to return to Uzbekistan.
He clarified that he did not cross the border illegally and that his passport was taken away by the military in the Kaminka military unit. He was offered Russian citizenship, but because he refused, his passport was not returned. On July 4 of this year, Khalikov returned to Uzbekistan on the St. Petersburg-Tashkent flight.
