“Only you can stop the Ukraine-Russia war” – Mirziyoyev to Trump

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev participated in the C5+1 Summit of Central Asian leaders and the U.S. President at the White House in Washington, D.C.

“Dear Mr. Trump, we highly appreciate your personal contribution to revitalizing cooperation within the renewed C5+1 framework. In fact, no U.S. president has ever approached Central Asia with such attention and engagement. On behalf of myself and all my colleagues, I express our sincere gratitude. We genuinely felt your attention, which is of great significance to us,” Mirziyoyev said.

He emphasized that in Uzbekistan, people refer to him as the “Peace President” and noted that the U.S. leader has made significant efforts to resolve eight conflicts around the world.

“I believe that only you can stop the war between Ukraine and Russia. We place great hope in this,” Mirziyoyev added.

The summit, chaired by President Donald Trump, was also attended by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan, President Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan, President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan, and President Serdar Berdimuhamedow of Turkmenistan.
