3155Earlier in Kashkadarya, it was reported that 2nd-grade students were asked to deliver reminders to their parents about paying taxes on time. The tax collectors who sent these reminder letters to taxpayers through students have been reprimanded with a warning (a disciplinary action). This was reported by the regional tax department.
In a video, two individuals entered a classroom, explained to students the payment terms for property and land taxes owed by individuals, and distributed reminder letters.
Following the incident, the Kashkadarya Regional Tax Department launched an internal service inspection, which revealed the following:
On September 4 of this year, Rozmamat Norkabilovich Nurmanov and Bobur Asatullayevich Hazratkulov, employees of the production and support staff of the tax inspectorate, visited Secondary School No. 14 in the district. They informed the 3rd-grade students about property and land taxes paid by individuals and distributed reminders to be given to their parents.
However, the management of the Inspectorate had not instructed these employees to distribute the reminders on school premises, according to the report.
The situation was captured by the class teacher, who shared it in the school's parent Telegram group. As a result, the video spread across social networks.
In response, an official warning was issued to the first deputy head of the Nishan District Tax Inspectorate. Additionally, disciplinary measures, in accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, were taken against employees Nurmanov and Hazratkulov for their actions.
