Application for transfer of studies has started

Today, starting from July 15, the processes of transfer of studies in higher education institutions have started.  This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

It is noted that applications for transfer of studies will continue until August 5 of this year.  Applications are accepted through the following 2 platforms:

• Transfer.edu.uz – from one state higher education institution to another;
• My.uzbmb.uz – from foreign and non-state higher education institutions operating in foreign countries or in the republic to state higher education institutions.

For information, only 2 categories of students are allowed to transfer from one higher education institution to another in Uzbekistan:

If the student gets married, to higher education institutions in the place of residence of the spouse;

When a civil servant changes his/her place of work, his/her child or spouse can transfer his/her studies with a recommendation letter from the relevant supervisor.

Also, students of foreign and private HEIs in Uzbekistan take exams to enter state higher education institutions.

Those who do not get a passing score can be accepted with a “super-contract”.

Admission privileges are not valid for transfer students.
