“Kindergarten Head Fired Following Allegations of Child Molestation by her Son”

Local

The head of a kindergarten in Tashkent's Chilonzor district has been dismissed from her position following reports that her son had allegedly molested several 6-year-old girls. The Ministry of Preschool and School Education cited the head's irresponsible approach to her duties, endangerment of children's lives and violation of internal labor regulations as reasons for her dismissal under Clause 5 of the second part of Article 161 of the Labor Code.

While investigations are ongoing to determine the veracity of the molestation claims, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 25 and Article 119 of the Criminal Code. It should be noted that the concerned parents had reported the incidents to the Main Department of Internal Affairs in Tashkent, which prompted the investigation.

The situation highlights the importance of responsible leadership and the need for strict adherence to safety protocols in educational institutions, especially those catering to young children.  The Ministry's swift action in dismissing the head of the kindergarten shows a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of students under their care.
