Number of Uzbek fighters in the UFC increases by one

Uzbek MMA fighter Ramazon Temirov, known for his participation in tournaments organized by "Rizin" and the Murodov Professional League, has signed a contract with the prestigious mixed martial arts league, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The athlete made this announcement on his Instagram page.

"Both our fight date and our opponent have been determined. We will have our first fight on October 12 in Las Vegas," said the athlete.

Previously, there were rumors in the Uzbek MMA community about the transfer of 27-year-old Ramazon Temirov to the UFC. Today, the athlete put an end to these speculations.

In his first UFC fight, 27-year-old Temirov will face American fighter CJ Vergara. Vergara has recorded three wins and three losses in six UFC fights to date.

For your information, Temirov has participated in 9 MMA fights, winning 8 of them and losing 1. He knocked out his opponents in 5 of his victories. Temirov's upcoming fight will take place at UFC Fight Night 244 on October 12 of this year.

It should be noted that it was previously reported that Nursultan Ruziboev, a UFC fighter from Uzbekistan, signed a new contract with the organization. However, the first UFC fighter in the country's history, Mahmud Murodov, has since left the organization.
