Nuriddin Zayniddinov, a member of the Uchtepa District Council of People's Deputies, and a member of the Standing Commission on Judiciary and Combating Corruption, said that he was being pressured.  He wrote about it on his social network page.

"After I conducted a deputy control and inquiry on some issues, a provocation is being organized with a "political coup"  In my opinion, this situation has arisen because I have captured some officials, and referring to the Security Council under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the Legislative Chamber, the Presidential Administration, and the Prosecutor General's Office.

It is noted that his legal rights as a public control activist and deputy of the local council are being violated, and he is being subjected to all kinds of harassment and political pressure.

According to him, on 21 October, he received a call to his phone number, in which a person who introduced himself as a lieutenant colonel of internal affairs bodies, immediately arrived at the building of the Civil Appeals Department of the Internal Affairs Body of Uchtepa district. Threats, pressure, and provocation were organized, demanding that he come, and saying that if he does not come, they will find him wherever he is and take him away.

"Besides, the employees of the internal affairs and other bodies went to my relatives' houses, informed them that they were looking for me, and asked their neighbors questions.

According to the opinion of the employee of the internal affairs bodies, being a deputy, I was corrupting the people's opinion before the visit, causing havoc and chaos.  "I shouldn't criticize, I shouldn't speak if possible," says the deputy.

He noted that according to unconfirmed information, the head of one body in the district called him to the building of the internal affairs body before an expected state event, despite having the right to privacy, violated the laws and violated Article 194 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.  They wanted to send him to prison for 15 days.

According to the deputy, the lieutenant colonel's calls stopped after he posted the audio of the conversation on social networks.

"In a normal, legal state, it is impossible to imagine that a deputy can be sent to prison for 15 days without grounds and without removing the right to immunity.

I assess this organized provocation as a political coup and demand that the perpetrators be found and punished," said deputy Nuriddin Zayniddinov.

He asked the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and the Legislative Chamber to protect him as a member of the state representative body of the parliament - a deputy of the Uchtepa District Council of People's Deputies and to conduct a parliamentary investigation.

Let us remind you that in January of this year, Nuriddin Zayniddinov said that he was under political pressure and said that he wanted to end his political career.
