Uzbekistan's U-23 football team will face Kuwait in the U-23 Asian Cup today, April 20. Coached by Temur Kapadze, the Uzbek team will compete in the second-round group stage match held in Qatar against Kuwait.
Placed in Group D, the White Wolves currently lead alongside Vietnam with 3 points gained from the first round. However, Kuwait suffered a defeat against Vietnam in their initial match. In the group's second match, Malaysia, defeated by Uzbekistan in the opening round, will confront the Vietnamese team.
Winning against Kuwait would secure Uzbekistan's U-23 team a spot in the quarter-finals of the tournament, surpassing expectations.
Wearing all white with the goalkeeper donning black, Uzbekistan will kick off against Kuwait at 20:30 Tashkent time in the “Saud Bin Abdulrahmon” Stadium in Doha.
