Today, on March 11, the quarter-finals of the U-20 Asian Football Championship were held in Uzbekistan.
The Uzbek team, coached by Ravshan Khaydarov, competed with the representatives of Australia in the quarter-finals. The main time of game ended with the score 1:1. When the score did not change even in extra minutes, the referee invited the teams to a penalty shootout.
The hosts won 5:4 in the penalty session and qualified for the next round and the World Cup, which will be hosted by Indonesia this year.
