Mamajonov, the artistic director of the folk goalkeeper team "Vodil Chinori" from Tursunali, has been confirmed deceased by QALAMPIR.UZ.
For context, Tursunali Mamajonov was born in 1949 in the Fergana region. He was the founder of the Fergana region zoo and an esteemed ecologist. Mamajonov had been presenting performances in Shohimardon for many years and was honored with the 1st degree "Veteran of Labor" badge.
The funeral of Tursunali Mamajonov, an esteemed cultural worker of Uzbekistan, recipient of multiple state awards, and founder of the national goalkeeping and wrestling teams, will take place today, July 28, at 2:00 p.m. in Vodil, Fergana district, the village of his birth and upbringing.
