Turkmenistan provides free gas to Uzbekistan

Turkmenistan is providing free liquefied gas to Uzbekistan to support friendship and brotherhood.  The decree of the President of Turkmenistan was signed.

According to the decree, the state concern "Turkmangaz" was instructed to transfer the appropriate amount of liquefied gas to Uzbekistan.  The message did not provide information about the exact volume of gas transfer.

It should be recalled that Turkmenistan has suspended gas exports to Uzbekistan since 12 January of this year.  Two weeks later, on 21 January, gas export was resumed.
