People detained for selling fake Turkish passports and driver’s licenses

A criminal group involved in preparing and selling fake foreign passports was identified during an operational event in Fergana. The State Security Service reported this.
It was reported that during the operation, a person born in 1995 and living in Margilan conspired with four acquaintances born in 1990, 1997, 1999 and 2003 who live in Fergana city. They were detained while selling a fake passport of the Republic of Turkey and a driver’s license to a client for 4 million soums.
A total of 11 mobile phones and two laptops were seized from them as physical evidence.
It was reported that a criminal case has been opened against the offenders, and investigative actions are underway.
Earlier, it was reported that individuals involved in the sale of counterfeit currency had been detained during an operational event in Namangan region.
