Three unattended children were returned to Uzbekistan from Turkey

4422On October 2, three minor children who had been left without parental care in Istanbul, Turkey, were returned to Tashkent. This was reported by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul.
The return of the two girls, aged 16 and 6, and one boy, aged 11, was coordinated following appeals from their relatives. The Consulate General, in collaboration with Uzbekistan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ministry of Health, facilitated the safe return of the children under the supervision of responsible personnel.
"The Consulate General emphasized the importance of not leaving minor children unattended abroad and urged citizens to promptly inform Uzbekistan’s foreign diplomatic missions if they encounter such situations," the report states.
Previously, 14 minors, whose parents or legal guardians were absent in Russia, were also repatriated to Uzbekistan.
