The General Consulate of Uzbekistan in Istanbul has reported the search for Fazliddin Fakhriddinovich Atabayev, born in 1986 in the Samarkand region, who is currently evading criminal charges in Turkey.
Citizens are urged to share any information regarding Atabayev's whereabouts with the Consulate General or the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan to aid in his apprehension and to be cautious of potential deception by fraudsters.
The Consulate General emphasizes the commitment to pursuing criminal prosecution rigorously against individuals hiding abroad, including Turkey, to evade legal accountability, reiterating the ongoing efforts to enforce criminal responsibility.
Previously sought by Interpol with a Red Alert for fraud, the Uzbek citizen was apprehended by the Istanbul police.
