The "Infinite Brotherhood-III" military exercises were conducted in the Turkestan region of southern Kazakhstan, according to a report from the press service of Kazakhstan's Ministry of Defense.

During the active phase of the drills, special units from six nations worked together to neutralize a simulated criminal group. The participating countries included Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan, with the exercises overseen by military representatives from all six nations. Observers from Jordan and Kyrgyzstan were also present.

The mission for the joint military contingents was to break through borders and eliminate an illegal armed group hiding in a populated area. The militants' attempt to use drones against the allied forces was thwarted by electronic warfare measures, according to the statement from the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan.

In addition, the exercises featured a coordinated airstrike by the joint forces to capture key command points. This tactical attack was supported by kamikaze drones, airstrikes, and mobile units providing ground fire. After storming an administrative building, retreating enemy forces were eliminated in a tunnel using drones.

The drills also included an exhibition showcasing weapons, military equipment, and various combat gear at the Orda training ground.

"With the rising threat of terrorism, we are combining our efforts in military security. The exercises enabled command units and their subordinates to refine crisis response strategies. This joint operation demonstrated the military contingents' ability to operate cohesively and effectively," stated Ruslan Jaksilikov, Kazakhstan's Minister of Defense.

More than 400 military personnel participated in the training.

It is worth noting that prior to this, the "Ashiq Aspan-2024" international operational-tactical command-staff exercises took place with the participation of Air Force personnel from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, along with air defense specialists.
