12485In Uzbekistan, one-room social houses are being constructed for girls in urgent need of housing. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced this initiative during a meeting focused on youth policy and engagement.
The President highlighted ongoing efforts to support girls' education, employment, and living conditions. Specifically, these one-room social houses will be available to girls in need at no cost for up to three years, providing them with a stable environment until they secure employment and achieve stability.
The President tasked the governors with designing model social houses and commencing their construction.
Furthermore, plans include providing remote work opportunities for girls unable to work due to health issues. Additionally, students with children under the age of three will be offered the chance to pursue distance education.
