Bullets from a firearm were discovered in the bag of a passenger traveling from New York to Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Tashkent-AERO specialized customs complex.

According to the report, the passenger’s black suitcase, which was passing through the green lane at Tashkent International Airport, triggered suspicion when examined by an X-ray machine. Upon further inspection in the presence of witnesses, customs officers found three 7.6x39 caliber bullets labeled "Belom" among the clothing inside the bag.

An investigation is currently underway regarding this incident.

This is not the first such case at the Uzbek-Kazakh border. Previously, a citizen was detained at the "Yallama" border post in the Tashkent region for attempting to smuggle an air rifle and 1,500 rounds of ammunition.
