Another street temporarily closed in Tashkent due to roadwork

Due to ongoing construction and repair work, vehicle traffic on Ahangaran Highway in the Yashnabad district of Tashkent will be temporarily suspended starting from July 3. This was reported by the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the capital.
According to the report, the closure will affect the section of the THAI–Ahangaran highways, from the roundabout to the Sharq RPS along Ahangaran Highway.

Traffic restrictions on this section will remain in effect from July 3 to July 10.
“We apologize for the inconvenience and recommend that drivers use alternative routes, including Husain Boykaro Street, Parkent Road, Khanabadtepa, and Shohimardon Street,” the statement reads.
It should also be noted that, due to similar repair work, the intersection of Sodiq Azimov Street and "Voice of Uzbekistan" Street in the Mirzo Ulugbek district was temporarily closed from 12:00 on July 2 until 08:00 on July 5.
