Fire erupts at food stall in Tashkent

3193Today, December 19, a fire broke out at a food stall in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent. This was reported by the capital's Emergency Situations Department.
According to the report, at 11:04 a.m., the Tashkent City Fire Department received information about a fire at a food stall located in the Yalangoch village of the Mirzo Ulugbek district.
Fire and rescue teams arrived at the scene at 11:07 a.m., and the fire was fully extinguished by 11:15 a.m.
Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries resulting from the fire. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the material damage.
It is worth recalling that on December 17, a devastating fire broke out at a gas station in the city of Fergana, Fergana region. The incident resulted in the death of one person at the scene, while several others were hospitalized with varying degrees of injuries. Despite medical care, three of the hospitalized victims later died.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 257 (Violation of labor protection rules) Part 3, Clause “a” and Article 259 (Violation of fire safety rules) Part 3, Clause “a” of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
