There were reports on social networks that animals are dying of hunger in the stable belonging to the joint-stock company “Tashkent Otchopari.”  The Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Development Committee provided information on the situation.

As it turned out, three sections of the stables of “Tashkent Otchopari” JSC, where the accident happened, were leased to the citizen K.S., who was keeping 14 horses there.  The horses were not provided with veterinary services, nor was there sufficient and necessary food stored.

As a result of improper feeding, 2 horses died, and the rest became very emaciated.

According to reports, currently 60 horses of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 18 horses of the National Guard, 72 horses belonging to citizens, totaling 150 horses are stabled in “Tashkent Otchopari” JSC.  These horses have been vaccinated against anthrax by the veterinary service.

“Blood samples for brucellosis were taken and submitted to the State Center for the Diagnosis of Animal Diseases and Food Safety of the Republic for diagnostic examination, and a diagnostic examination was carried out,” the report said.

After the results of inspections, no infectious and dangerous diseases were detected in the horses.
