The director, a teacher, and the mother of a student involved in a physical and verbal altercation at school No. 213 in the Mirabad district of Tashkent have been fined. Meanwhile, the student’s father has been sentenced to 10 days in administrative detention. QALAMPIR.UZ obtained the court ruling related to the incident.

According to the court documents, on April 7 at around 15:00, F.K. and H.K. entered the office of the school director and, disregarding public order, shouted and insulted Director S.I. They were found to have engaged in petty hooliganism and failed to comply with lawful demands from an Internal Affairs Department (IAD) officer who intervened to stop the incident.

It was also revealed that F.K. had previously been administratively punished for not complying with lawful orders from law enforcement.

During the altercation, Director S.I. responded to F.K.’s behavior with insults, degrading his dignity. Additionally, teacher N.R. made offensive remarks about F.K. and his family while speaking to one of F.K.’s acquaintances, a former student of the same school, thereby violating rules of conduct.

The case was heard by the Mirabad District Court for Criminal Cases on April 9. During the hearing, F.K. claimed that the incident stemmed from a warning issued by the school principal to other students about his son A., whom the principal accused of selling psychotropic substances. According to the principal, the student had already transferred to another school, and he had merely advised students not to associate with bad influences. Teacher N.R. admitted to insulting the parents and appealed to the court for leniency.

Following the hearing, the court issued the following rulings:

- F.K. was found guilty under Article 183 (Petty hooliganism) and Article 194, Part 2 (Failure to comply with lawful demands of internal affairs officers) of the Administrative Code. He was sentenced to 10 days of administrative detention under Article 34.

- H.K. was fined three times the minimum wage (1,125,000 UZS) for petty hooliganism.

- Director S.I. was found guilty under Article 41 (Insult) of the Administrative Code and fined twice the minimum wage (750,000 UZS).

- Teacher N.R. was also fined twice the minimum wage (750,000 UZS) for insulting the student’s family.

This case comes shortly after a separate incident in Surkhandarya’s Sherabad district, where a primary school teacher was accused of physically abusing students at secondary school No. 45. A draft order for disciplinary action under labor legislation has been submitted regarding that case.
