Child’s leg broken after alleged beating by tutor at private kindergarten in Tashkent

A disturbing video circulating on social media shows a child with a broken leg after reportedly being beaten at a private kindergarten in Tashkent. The Tashkent City Department of Preschool and School Education has launched an investigation into the incident.

According to the department, the incident occurred on January 22, 2025, at the Solnishko private preschool in the Sergeli district. Yu.M., an assistant tutor at the institution, allegedly struck the child, S.A., in the face and then forcibly dragged him by the hand into the dormitory in an attempt to "calm him down."

As a result of the altercation, the child suffered a broken left leg. Emergency medical care was administered, and the child was transferred to Republican Emergency Hospital No. 16 for further treatment.

The Tashkent City Department of Preschool and School Education has confirmed that law enforcement agencies are currently investigating the matter. 

This incident follows a previous case where a child’s hand was broken due to alleged neglect by a nursery school nurse.
