KFC and other companies fined for advertising law violations in Tashkent

Several businesses, including "International Foodchain" LLC (KFC), "UNG PETRO" LLC (CARVON), "Central Asia Voyages-CAV" LLC, and "Hamkor Reklama Servis" LLC, have been fined for violating advertising legislation. This was reported by the Committee for the Development of Competition and Consumer Rights Protection.

According to the results of the investigation, the Special Commission of the Tashkent City Territorial Department of the Competition Committee initiated proceedings against these companies for breaching the Law "On Advertising" and regulations concerning outdoor advertising, as outlined in Resolution No. 104 of the Cabinet of Ministers, "On Regulation of the Outdoor Advertising Market." Financial fines were subsequently imposed.

"Mandatory instructions were also issued to eliminate the violations and prevent their recurrence in the future," the report stated.

Earlier, a financial fine was also imposed on Coscom LLC (Ucell) for similar advertising law violations.
