A fire broke out in an apartment building in Tashkent’s Yunusobod district, according to the capital's Emergency Situations Department.
On March 20, at 22:04, the Tashkent City Fire Department received a report of a fire on the eighth floor of an apartment building on Yunusota Street. Fire and rescue teams arrived at the scene at 22:16, and the fire was fully extinguished by 22:24.
There were no reported casualties or injuries. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the material damage.
Earlier, a fire broke out in a library owned by the regional Department of Preschool and School Education in Samarkand. Since the fire occurred in the administrative section of the building, no books were damaged.
