On January 4, Sultoniya Street in Tashkent’s Mirzo Ulugbek district was closed until January 12 due to ongoing construction and repair works. The Mirzo Ulugbek district administration reported this.
It was noted that vehicle traffic will also be partially restricted on Shurtepa, Shurtepa 1-tor, and Sultoniya 5-tor streets adjacent to Sultoniya Street. Residents of the area will be able to access the streets via Buyuk Ipak Yuli Street.

“We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Soon, a modern road infrastructure that has undergone reconstruction will be made available for use,” the statement said.
It is worth noting that earlier, several streets in Tashkent were temporarily closed in preparation for New Year celebrations, as well as to ensure public safety and maintain public order during the events.
