Some streets will be temporarily closed in Tashkent

A section of Bobur Street in Tashkent will be temporarily closed to car traffic, according to a report from the information service of "Tashkent City Electric Networks" LLC.

To ensure a stable energy supply for consumers in Tashkent, 110 kV high-voltage underground power transmission cables will be installed along Bobur Street in the Yakkasaroy district, from the intersection with Shota Rustaveli Street to the intersection with Nukus Street. These installation works are scheduled to take place.

As a result, from September 18 to October 15, traffic will be restricted along this part of Bobur Street.

"We apologize for any inconvenience caused to drivers and recommend using alternative routes," the statement said.

It should also be noted that, due to the start of the Futsal World Championship on September 14, traffic was restricted on several streets near the "Humo Arena" in Tashkent.
