Certain streets in Tashkent were closed indefinitely

Starting from midnight on July 15, vehicular traffic on some streets in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent has been restricted indefinitely. This was reported by the Traffic Safety Department of the Tashkent City Police Department.

The restrictions are due to ongoing construction and repair work and affect the following areas:

  • From the intersection of Temur Malik and Bog‘ishamol streets along Temur Malik Street to the intersection of Temur Malik and Sultoniya streets;
  • From the intersection of Temur Malik and Buyuk Ipak Yoli streets along Buyuk Ipak Yoli Street to the intersection of Buyuk Ipak Yoli and Shukur Burhonov streets.

"We apologize for any inconvenience and kindly ask our residents to use alternative routes," the statement concludes.

Previously, it was reported that the "Buyuk Turon" bridge in Tashkent would be closed for two months.
