Buses in Tashkent are expected to be equipped with video recorders that record violations.  This was announced by the head of the traffic safety department of the Ministry of Public Security, Fazliddin Toshkenboyev.

In Tashkent, a new system will be launched to take measures against drivers who use public transport lanes and illegally leave their cars at stations.

“There are many cases of cars being left on the side of the road.  In order to prevent this, it is planned to install video recorders in public transport.  This will allow the application of punitive measures against violators while limiting the human factor,” says Tashkentboyev.

According to Toshkenboyev, in order to improve the knowledge and skills of bus drivers, special interviews, explanations and express courses are being organized with them.

“In addition, we have established a working group for gathering new drivers and are organizing short-term training sessions with more than 200 drivers.  Then we will give them a special test, and after that a contract will be signed with them,” added Fazliddin Toshkenboyev.
