The “Texnopark–Qipchoq” section of the above-ground ring line of the Tashkent Metro will be temporarily closed for scheduled preventive maintenance lasting three months. This was announced by the State Enterprise “Tashkent Metro.”

The 14-station segment, part of the above-ground ring road, has been in operation for several years. In line with international standards, newly built metro routes typically undergo scheduled technical maintenance after a certain period of use to ensure the safe operation of trains and enhance passenger service quality.

Accordingly, phased maintenance work will be carried out between the “Texnopark” and “Qipchoq” stations. Beginning June 8, metro services will be suspended specifically between “Turon” (13th station) and “Qipchoq” (14th station) to allow for this work.

To minimize inconvenience for passengers, the Tashkent Metro will provide free, high-capacity shuttle buses (metrobuses) operating along the “Qipchoq–Quruvchilar–Qipchoq” route. These buses will run daily from 05:00 to 23:00 throughout the maintenance period.
