Pregnant woman loses fetus after road rage incident in Tashkent (video)

A pregnant woman was injured and lost her fetus following a collision between Gentra and BYD drivers on Mukimiy Street in the Yakkasaroy district of Tashkent. The incident was reported by the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the capital.

According to the investigation, the incident began when one of the drivers attempted to move to the right side of the road. During the collision, the BYD driver and his father attacked the Gentra driver, broke the car windows, and physically assaulted his pregnant wife.

The Tashkent Main Department of Internal Affairs has opened a criminal case under Part 2, Article 277 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code. All individuals involved in the incident have been detained.

A forensic medical examination has also been ordered to determine the exact cause of the fetus’s death. Based on the experts’ conclusion, the legal qualification of the case may be reviewed.

It is worth noting that earlier, a BYD driver was penalized for driving on the wrong side of the road and turning at a red light at an intersection.
