BYD burns down after collision in Tashkent

An electric vehicle of the BYD brand caught fire following a traffic accident in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent city. The incident was confirmed by the capital's Emergency Situations Department.
According to the report, the accident occurred on May 2 at approximately 13:30 at the intersection of Dormon Road and Mirzo Ulugbek Street. Following the collision, the electric vehicle ignited. The Fire Department of Tashkent city was immediately alerted and fire-rescue units arrived at the scene by 13:34. The blaze was brought under control and fully extinguished by 13:57.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire and assess the extent of the material damage.
It is worth noting that earlier, another traffic accident occurred in the same district involving a Cobalt and a LI XIANG vehicle, in which two passengers from the Cobalt were treated with first aid.
