Traffic police inspector and citizen involved in dispute on Tashkent-Chinaz road (video)

A video circulating on social media shows a traffic police inspector cursing at a citizen on the Tashkent-Chinaz road.

The incident occurred on December 4 at around 16:00 on the M39 “Tashkent-Termez” highway, passing through the Yangiyul district of Tashkent region.

According to the Tashkent Regional Traffic Safety Department, the quarrel began when the traffic police inspector, driving a vehicle equipped with a special automated photo and video recording device, became involved in an altercation with the citizen, who allegedly interfered with the inspector’s work and insulted him.

The Tashkent regional Internal Affairs Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has taken the matter under special control. A legal assessment of the actions of both parties will be conducted following an investigation and service inspection.

This incident follows a similar confrontation that occurred earlier in the Fergana region between police officers and citizens.
