Due to the replacement of hot water pipes and repair work on Sogdiana Street in the Sergeli district of Tashkent, the routes of several buses have been temporarily altered. This was reported by the Tashkent Main Department of Transport.
According to the announcement, vehicle traffic on Obihayot Street will be temporarily suspended, and the movement of large vehicles on Sogdiana Street will be restricted. As a result, the routes of bus numbers 40, 143, and 184 will be adjusted from July 19 to August 18 as follows:
Route No. 40:
- The bus will run from Sergeli 12-daha via Kipchak and Yangi Sergeli streets. It will turn back from the intersection of Sergeli Road and Obihayot and return via the same route. Travel to the Tashkent Railway Station will only be available through Kipchak and Yangi Sergeli streets, without entering Obihayot Street.
Route No. 143:
- In both directions, the route will be changed to Lutfkor – Yangi Sergeli – Sergeli Yuli streets, bypassing Obihayot Street.
Route No. 184:
- This route will be temporarily shortened to terminate at the "Sergeli Yarmarkasi" stop on Yangi Sergeli Street, without entering Obihayot Street.
Passengers are advised to plan their journeys in advance, taking these temporary changes into account.
It should be recalled that earlier, it was reported that a section of KHAY Road in the Shaykhontohur district—from the intersection of Beruniy Street to the intersection of Beshkairogoch Street—would also be temporarily closed. In this regard, some bus routes have been redirected through alternative streets.
