A man from Tashkent's Sergeli district has been sentenced to 15 days in jail for assaulting a minor. QALAMPIR.UZ reviewed the court documents related to the case.
The incident stemmed from a disagreement between schoolchildren. A girl informed her parents that her classmate had insulted her, prompting the parents to confront the boy at his home.
During the confrontation outside an apartment building in Sergeli’s 5th district, the boy's brother, born in 2008, became involved in the argument. The altercation escalated, leading M.I., born in 1992, to physically assault the boy multiple times.
The minor, identified as T.T., sustained injuries, including "soft tissue bruising on the left side of the chest."
The case was heard by the Sergeli District Criminal Court in Tashkent. M.I. was found guilty of violating Article 183 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility and sentenced to 15 days of administrative detention.
Additionally, his wife was fined 340,000 soums for her involvement.
