Teacher beats ninth-grade student in Tashkent (video)

A conflict broke out between ninth-grade students and an informatics teacher at a school in Tashkent’s Mirzo Ulugbek district. The Tashkent City Department of Preschool and School Education commented on the incident.
According to the department, the case is being investigated by a working group made up of representatives of the Tashkent City Department of Preschool and School Education and law enforcement agencies.
“Additional information on the matter will be provided. Legal measures will be taken in accordance with the established procedure against all persons who violated the school’s internal rules and are responsible for the incident,” the statement said.
Earlier, a young man in Kosonsoy district of Namangan region stabbed to death his fiancée, an 11th-grade student, out of jealousy.
