Pedestrian dies in an accident in Tashkent

On May 20, a fatal traffic accident occurred in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent, as reported by the information service of the Tashkent City Police Department.
The accident took place at 21:00 in front of 4 Yuzrobod Street, Mirzo Ulugbek district. A 1989-born man, identified as P.M., was driving his Matiz car when he struck a Russian pedestrian estimated to be between 35 and 40 years old. The pedestrian died at the scene from his injuries.
A criminal case has been initiated by the Investigative Department of the Tashkent City Police under Article 266, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The investigation is currently ongoing.
