Three sentenced for attacking doctors in Tashkent

Three individuals who assaulted doctors at a hospital in Tashkent have been sentenced to three years in prison. According to "Millar," the incident occurred when a patient visited the hospital with his friends. A disagreement escalated between the friends and the medical staff, resulting in the three attackers beating the doctors and causing varying degrees of injury.

At the trial, held at the Shaykhantohur District Court for Criminal Cases, the three individuals were found guilty of committing hooliganism under paragraph "g" of part 3 of article 277 of the Criminal Code. They were each sentenced to **three years in prison**, to be served in a penal colony.

It is worth noting that a similar incident occurred earlier in Karakalpakstan, where ambulance workers were attacked by a patient’s father-in-law during a medical visit. The father-in-law, intoxicated and aggressive, caused minor injuries to the medical staff while they were attending to the patient.
