A man who escaped from a hospital stole a car in Tashkent

A man who was running away from a hospital located in the city of Chirchik, Tashkent region, stole someone’s car.  This was reported by the Press Service of the Investigation Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It was reported that on June 28 of this year at 1:10 p.m., an unknown person stole a Nexia-3 car that was left unattended near a pharmacy located on Gulyayeva street in Chirchik city.

After that, while he was driving this car on Alisher Navoi street in Chirchik city, 41-year-old S.I.  He was caught by the employees of the Criminal Investigation Department of the city’s Internal Affairs Department when he hit the Nexia-2 car from the back and committed a Road Transport Incident.  When the staff of the Internal Affairs Department clarified his identity, he was identified as 35-year-old U.M., a resident of Tashkent region.  It was determined that

In connection with this situation, the Investigative Department of the Internal Affairs Department of Chirchik city initiated a criminal case against U.M. under Article 267, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (evading a vehicle).  When the suspect was interrogated as part of the criminal case, he said that he committed the crime in order to escape because he was being treated at a hospital in the city and the doctors did not respond to him at home.

The case is currently being investigated and U.M.’s mental health is under investigation.
