A video showing a woman beating a minor on a playground in Tashkent has gone viral on social media, sparking widespread discussion. In response, the capital’s Main Department of Internal Affairs issued a statement regarding the incident.
According to the report, the incident occurred on April 28 at around 16:00 in front of apartment buildings in the Shikotarlar neighborhood of the Almazar district. M.A., a woman born in 1989, physically assaulted a minor, K.M., who had been involved in a quarrel with her own child on the playground. The injured child was taken to a medical facility.
A forensic examination concluded that the child sustained minor bodily injuries that did not cause short-term health deterioration.
Following this, M.A. was held administratively liable under Article 52 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (infliction of minor bodily harm) and was fined by the court.
It is worth noting that in a previous incident, the principal of School No. 14 in Qoshkopir district, Khorezm region, was dismissed for physically assaulting students, including pulling and dragging them by the hair.
