There have been reports on social networks indicating that an officer of the National Guard used a weapon attached to him to inflict self-harm in Tashkent. In order to gain further insight into this situation, QALAMPIR.UZ reached out to Hayat Shamsutdinov, the spokesperson of the General Prosecutor's Office.
According to Mr. Shamsutdinov, the Tashkent military prosecutor's office is currently conducting an investigation into this matter. This incident occurred today, on October 17.
Based on information circulating on social networks, this situation unfolded within the premises of the prosecutor's office in the Almazar district. The reasons behind why the National Guard officer resorted to self-harm are yet unknown.
It's worth noting that prior to this incident, in the settlement of "Vadil" in the Fergana district of the Fergana region, border guards had to use force against two citizens who were actively resisting due to the influence of alcohol.
