Authorities respond to school fight in Mirzo Ulugbek district

Photos circulating on social media show school students in Tashkent involved in a physical altercation, resulting in injuries. The Main Department of Internal Affairs has issued a statement regarding the incident.
On April 21, in a school located in the Mirzo Ulugbek district, a dispute arose between two minors, R.S. and A.I., both born in 2007. The disagreement escalated into a fight, during which A.I. inflicted injuries on R.S.. The injured student was subsequently hospitalized.
To determine the severity of the injuries, a forensic medical examination has been ordered. Meanwhile, the Mirzo Ulugbek District Coordination Department of Internal Affairs is conducting a pre-investigation inquiry into the matter.
Previously, in Samarkand, a teacher was dismissed after being reported for hitting a student during class.
