Lacetti driver hits traffic police inspector in Tashkent

A Lacetti driver hit a traffic patrol inspector in Tashkent’s Mirzo Ulugbek District. This was reported by the Road Traffic Safety Department of the Tashkent Main Department of Internal Affairs.
According to the report, at around 17:30 on January 22, a Lacetti vehicle driven by A.Kh., born in 2000, sharply changed direction to the left at the intersection of Shahrisabz and Mustaqillik avenues in Mirzo Ulugbek District. While making the left turn, the driver struck a traffic patrol inspector who was on duty at the center of the intersection.
As a result of the traffic incident, the inspector was provided with first medical assistance by doctors. A pre-investigation inquiry is currently being conducted by the Road Traffic Safety Department of the Tashkent Main Department of Internal Affairs.
“All road users are urged to strictly comply with traffic rules,” the statement said.
It is worth noting that earlier, teenagers in Andijan knocked over a speed camera and threw it into a canal.
