Lacetti driver attacks a motorist with a club in Tashkent

A video showing a confrontation between two drivers in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent has been circulating on social media. The capital’s Main Department of Internal Affairs has issued an official response.

The incident reportedly took place on June 14 at around 11:00 AM on Rihsiliy Street in Yunusabad. Following a minor traffic accident, a verbal altercation broke out between B.Kh., the driver of a Lacetti, and Sh.O., the driver of a Cobalt.

According to the report, B.Kh. stopped his vehicle in the middle of the road, approached the Cobalt, and struck its left door window with a blunt object. He then left the scene. Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident.

As a result, the district office of the Internal Affairs Department filed an administrative report against B.Kh. under Article 183 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (petty hooliganism). The case documents have been forwarded to the district criminal court for legal action.

As a reminder, a separate case was recently reported in Fergana, where a man fatally struck an acquaintance with a car, prompting the reclassification of the case as intentional homicide.
