Roof of apartment building in Tashkent catches fire

A fire broke out on the roof of a multi-storey building in the Shaykhantohur district of Tashkent. The incident was reported by the city’s Emergency Situations Department.
According to the report, at 12:06 on March 27, the Tashkent City Fire Department received a call about the fire at an apartment building on Iftihor Street in Shaykhantohur. Fire and rescue teams arrived at the scene at 12:10. The fire was contained by 12:29 and fully extinguished by 12:31.
The cause of the fire and the extent of material damage are still being investigated. Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported. Additional information will be provided as the investigation continues.
Earlier, a fire had also broken out in an apartment on the 8th floor of a building on Yunusota Street in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent.
