Man brandishing a knife on Tashkent street sparks concern

8182A video circulating on social media shows a drunken man walking on a street in Nazarbek, Tashkent region, wielding a knife. The press secretary of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs, Bobur Tolaganov, responded to the incident.
According to the report, the man did not cause harm to anyone, and no injuries to bystanders were recorded.
"He will be held accountable for his actions while intoxicated, by the law," the report states.
Authorities have documented the incident and launched a pre-investigation inquiry.
For context, a similar incident occurred earlier in the Tashkent region, where a drunk driver stabbed a 47-year-old man. In that case, a criminal charge was filed under Article 104, Part 3, Clause "d" of the Criminal Code for deliberate grievous bodily harm, and the suspect was also charged under Article 221 of the Criminal Code.
