Man directs gun to woman and beats her

In the Tashkent region, a man threatened his wife with a firearm and physically assaulted her, the regional Internal Affairs Department reported.

According to the authorities, on October 22 of this year, 33-year-old R.Q. visited his 35-year-old wife, N.Sh., in the Koksaroy neighborhood with a hunting rifle registered to him (he has been a member of the Hunting Society since 2021). During a dispute, he threatened her and inflicted bodily injuries.

A criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (intentional minor bodily harm), and the suspect has been summoned for investigation.

His hunting license, issued in 2022, has been revoked, and the TOZ-34 hunting rifle confiscated.

A forensic medical examination of the victim confirmed minor bodily injuries that caused a short-term health disorder.

The case is under full supervision of the Tashkent Region Internal Affairs Department, and investigative actions are being carried out by the Ohangaron District police.

It is worth noting that previously, in Yangiyul, a man threatened his wife with a knife.
