Captiva driver injures IAA officer in Tashkent

4900A Captiva driver injured an internal affairs officer in Tashkent, according to the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the city.
The incident occurred on August 19 at 2:00 a.m. in the market area of the Bektemir district. Inspector J. Rajabov, a patrol post service inspector with the Internal Affairs Department of the Bektemir district, discovered that a vehicle was parked in a prohibited area. As the vehicle was obstructing the free movement of other cars, Inspector Rajabov contacted the owner of the Captiva and requested that he move the vehicle. However, the owner, identified as Sh.A., born in 1990, refused to comply with the legal request of the IAA officer. He actively resisted and assaulted Inspector Rajabov, causing bodily injury.
"The Bektemir district prosecutor's office is investigating the matter. A legal decision will be made after the investigation," the report stated.
It should be noted that a similar incident occurred when an inspector from the Khorezm National Nature Park was injured while on duty.
