In Tashkent, greenhouses causing a loss of 934.9 million soums to the budget were uncovered

4437In the Yunusobod district of Tashkent city and Qibray district of Tashkent region, operations of greenhouses illicitly utilizing natural gas worth 934.9 million soums were detected. This information was disclosed by the Department for Combating Economic Crimes.
It's reported that citizen J.K. and others unlawfully tapped into the public natural gas network using rubber hoses in a greenhouse established for commercial purposes within a residence in the "Katta Khasanboy" neighborhood area of the district, resulting in the theft of a total of 393.7 thousand cubic meters of natural gas. Consequently, 590.7 million soums worth of damage was inflicted upon the state and society's interests.
Similarly, during the pre-investigation conducted by the department's Qibray district branch, it was revealed that "T.A." LLC, led by D.S., illegally consumed a total of 229,400 cubic meters of natural gas in the LLC's greenhouse, leading to 344.2 million soums in damages to the interests of the state and society.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Article 169 (theft) of the Criminal Code, and investigations are underway.
It's worth noting that previously, in the Pakhtachi district of the Samarkand region, a clandestine lime shop was uncovered for illegally using natural gas worth 4 billion soums.
