Tashkent traffic incident: BYD and Spark collide, driver injured

On April 21, 2025, a traffic accident involving a BYD and a Spark occurred in Tashkent, resulting in injuries to the BYD driver. The incident was reported by the Capital City Police Department.
The accident took place around 17:30 on Katta Mirabad Street in Mirabad District. The 1994-born driver S.B., operating the Spark, collided with the 1984-born driver M.S., who was behind the wheel of the BYD.
Emergency responders provided immediate medical assistance to the injured BYD driver at the scene. Authorities from the Tashkent Traffic Safety Department have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
Earlier, in Tortkul District, Karakalpakstan, an Isuzu truck crashed into the rear of a DAF truck, trapping the Isuzu driver inside the vehicle before rescue teams successfully freed him.
