Truck loses control, causes 10-vehicle pileup in Tashkent

Today, August 1, a major traffic accident involving 10 vehicles occurred in the Yangihayot district of Tashkent. This was reported by the Traffic Safety Department of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department.
According to the report, the incident took place at 1:30 p.m. on Choshtepa Street. The vehicles involved included an IVECO truck, Captiva, Spark, Malibu-2, Onix, Cobalt, Hyundai, Tracker-2, and two Lacetti cars. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident.
The collision reportedly occurred after the truck driver lost control of the steering wheel.
“The incident is currently under investigation by responsible officers of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department,” the statement added.
It should be recalled that earlier in Syrdarya, a citizen crashed his spouse’s car into a roadside concrete barrier, causing the vehicle to be crushed and catch fire.
